🪽Excited to see another JHTBH performance? In the meantime between official shows our players are involved in the following Improv shows with @jetcityimprov this week at West of Lenin! 📌Sunday, August 10th @ 3:30pm - Whale Rapture! 🐳 A series of short form games and a fun longform sequence where players answer the question in the previous scene (players: Nate, Julia) 📌Sunday, August 10th @ 5:30pm - An exciting show in two parts: Hot Raft Reunion 🍉 & La Ronde 🫂 🍉 Come see slice of life but as an improv show. It’s a spark with a slow burn. It’s MONOSCENES! Our players are stuck in one location, no scene changes and it forces them to look inward when theres no daring mission to jet off too. (players: Julia, Darren, Spencer) 🫂A classic everyone-knows-everyone longform improv show. Its dramatic and high stakes. Players search for connections that end up circular. It’s simple, delightful and surprising (player: Alex) 📌Thursday, August 14th @ 7:30pm - Teachers Lounge 👩‍🏫. No more kicking back from the teachers! In Teachers Lounge the wonderful Jet City Improv instructors play side by side with the students. Class starts with shortform fun with fan favourites such as My Movie! Growing Shrinking! 185! and another delightful La Ronde. Can the students keep up? (players: Julia, Darren) Our players are so excited to be performing in this series put on by Jet City Improv and alongside the other players in these shows. Tickets are available on Jet City Improv’s website including sliding-scale pay what you can! All shows are at WEST OF LENIN (a theatre in Fremont with air conditioning). Grab a drink and have a laugh. Do a double feature on Sunday why don’t you 😉
