i never even knew i could do any of this until very recently!! my mismatching shoes started out as a wrong size footy boot purchase that ended up being the best option for my little foot so i stuck with it! now all my different size sports shoes don’t match and i love it that way 🥰🥰

i’m incredibly proud to have crossed the finish line 6th in my first WTPC 🥹💚

very boring spiel from me,
i’m not even a year into this sport, and i’ve had every road block thrown at me on the path to get here. it hasn’t even been 3 months since my accident, which left me with a torn acl, mcl, vml, vmo, meniscus and quad (on my good leg!), a thumb broken into 3, a broken helmet, a written off bike, and diagnosed ptsd. i rehabbed, hard, and was pretty much back to my full training plan within 7 weeks, until a silly fall had me slicing that same leg open, back in hospital with stitches, suture glue, steri strips and a whole heap of disappointment. that gash then turned into an infection more painful than the torn ligaments. no walking. back to square one. i shouldn’t have even considered this race. i landed in hungary sick, was locked away in my room, so any real physical race prep this week wasn’t an option.
to start this race was a miracle, to finish it was pure determination (and maybe a bit of stubbornness).
im leaving hungary still sick, but with so much drive to push myself further. this is just the beginning, and i can’t wait to see where this road takes me
