That’s a wrap!

Huge thanks to the incredible cast and crew who made this film possible. Every department brought their A-game, and we are still in awe of the magic that happened.

The work, focus, and collaboration on set were next level.

Grateful to everyone who showed up, stepped up and made it happen!

Wow. Today is the day we get to share Between The World And Me with everyone! I am forever grateful and indebted to @kamilahf for bringing me on to DP such a timely and important film. She is the perfect director, one that leads with humanity, intention, connection and values collaboration and growth. We started principle photography on August 7th and it is now completed and ready for the world on November 21. Not only was this fast but we did this during a pandemic y’all!!!! I am so very thankful for my amazing, loving, talented friends below, they supported me and helped me execute the vision that hopefully lives up to the powerful words of Ta-Nehisi Coates.
🥺💕 Here are a few photos from our shoot! Watch it tonight on @hbomax at 8pm ET!!!

🎭 WORLD THEATRE DAY 🎭:
Today goes highly appreciated.
Theatre is the core of me/ everything I do.
Theatre has helped me grow as a person and I’ve met so much talent and made life term friends.
Through theatre I’ve challenged myself, opened doors for me, learned how to walk in others shoes.
Theatre has given me the courage to break out of my shell and be myself.
Theatre has given my the power to think outside the box and never box myself in.
For this I am highly grateful.
