✨For years, I was ashamed to say that I’m Puerto Rican and had never visited the island. But here’s what I’ve learned: being Puerto Rican isn’t attached to a place. It’s in your blood. It’s in your culture and language. It’s in the food you grew up eating, the music that moves you, the family that surrounds you. It’s knowing who you are and where you come from—even if you’ve never stood on that soil. AND THEN THIS SEPTEMBER I EXPERIENCED IT FOR THE FIEST TIME!! From the moment I stepped off the plane my heart knew that this was the home of my ancestors. I finally understood why they call it La Isla del Encanto. The breathtaking views, the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, the sweet beautiful song of the coqui, the morning roosters greeting you before you have had your first cup of cafecito, and every plate of mofongo felt like a warm welcome. This trip wasn’t just about exploring. It was about family. It was about love. It was about celebrating my prima becoming a WIFE. The whole beautiful bride crew made it one to remember, we even brought Zumba with Erica to Puerto Rico in the rooftop of the Airbnb!! Some trips change you. This one definitely did. 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico, you were the perfect opening act. ✨ Act 1: CHEETAHLICIOUS BEFORE THE MRS. Act 2: THE HAYES WEDDING 💒 P.S. To mi gente en Puerto Rico, the ones who wake up without water, who go to sleep without electricity, who keep going even when the lights go out or water runs dry. You are the heartbeat of the island. Your resilience is breathtaking. Your spirit is unbreakable. I see you. I honor you. Y los llevo en mi corazón. 🇵🇷❤️

TAKE ME BACK 🗣️🗣️🗣️ My Cheetahlicious Before the Mrs. bachelorette was everything I could’ve ever wanted and more. My girls truly understood the assignment. 🤍🐆👰🏽‍♀️🇵🇷💍✨ What meant the most to me was how intentional every little detail was. They didn’t just celebrate my bachelorette; they celebrated ME. I felt so loved, so seen, and so incredibly blessed to have women in my life who know me so well and would go the extra mile to make this chapter of my life so special. I’ll never forget the way how they showed up for me and made one of the biggest moments of my life feel even more magical.
