I WAS TOLD: having kids of my own would likely be a hard or even impossible journey….but here we are. 20+ years later and I’m in awe at the people they’ve become.

NEVER did I imagine I’d have FOUR. To sit here today, in this moment, watching all of my GROWN babies join together to celebrate their big brother and his new wife…like my heart can’t even explain how it feels.

I WAS TOLD: our family was a joke and we’d never be close because we started out so wrong…My kids are more than I could have ever imagined. Their relationship with each other is the one accomplishment I’ll hold dear for my lifetime. The relationship I have with them is the biggest bonus!

I WAS TOLD: after divorce they’d never want a relationship with me….My kids don’t have a choice in who their momma is…but they DO have a choice in who their friends are. And the fact they chose to be my FRIEND is everything in the world to me.

I’m so glad I don’t listen to what I’m TOLD!

I truly consider myself the luckiest woman. To know my kiddos is to love my kiddos. I can’t tell you how many of my friends say “I just want to hang out with you and your kids” and they should. They are a fun bunch to be around!
