![Grief.
One word to explain a whole lot of pain. There is no right or wrong way to do it, every person requires their own version to find a place that just hurts less. I don’t think the literal heart break ever really heals.. I think your brain goes thru so many cycles of anger, hurt, sadness and denial that eventually it just does you a solid & rubs some kind of numbing cream on it just so you can catch your breathe.

💕Yesterday was the first time we have all been together since Daddy Angel went to heaven. I know to some that’s crazy but bleeding hearts need time to bleed peeps.
As we’ve explained it to Wyatt- when someone’s heart is just so hurt & broken sometimes it only makes it hurt more to see the other people who are hurting too. Of course, he’s 4, so his response is typically something like “well I can help make everyone’s hearts happy again w my big squeezy hugs” or “but we can pray to Jesus and ask him to take it away”- which really teaches you something about the beauty and resilience of a child’s heart + soul✨. But as hurting [adult] humans we travel down the “what if” road way too long, as if it’ll give us some relief... i think it just helps pass the time as we try to get to a place where we can even say the words out loud. They are gone.
-Now, I will say, I have hesitated to express any of my personal grieving process on social media because -let’s be real- this is a cruel world we live in & sometimes you just don’t have any fight left in you. We clearly didn’t always see eye to eye- but it wasn’t always like that. Yes there was a lot of dark storm clouds that surrounded our sunsets & the most beautiful bright light created from it. He may not have changed our compatibility or outcome but certainly changed our hearts.
Daddy Angel loved his boy more than anything. Anyone who knew him, knew that.
We don’t always understand Gods plan. But days like yesterday at least help give us a teeny tiny more peace.
We have each other to cry & laugh with. “Daddy Angel isn’t far. See?! He’s right there sitting on the moon!” We will always keep his memory positive + alive🌙#lovewins #SHOWyourchildren #kindness #forgiveness](https://s8.imginn.com/650996419_18363886279206715_471639818331199490_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/650996419_18363886279206715_471639818331199490_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s828x828_tt6&_nc_cat=101&ig_cache_key=MTcwMDI2MDg4MjA5OTIzODU3NA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTA4MC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=Yhuglyh_Z4cQ7kNvwEtBq0P&_nc_oc=AdqSxGUnHLi04-njzJbIPVAS9ZfXGRpWWouYFmud9SInfTGHC8zhyK-LwQj9dsi0MyKnZGWmDURzNORAl2nf5dNW&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=cQVb-5F-brdBNLepQw4QKQ&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQOUro3p_HyuDT5QtnNrU20-UUiImMvsOk8aIrA02707LQ&oe=6AE1E227)
