“I’ve met too many people, forged too many commitments... accepted too many responsabilities. To walk out on that would be to betray everything that I am. And if I did that, I wouldn’t even be a man, much less a warrior of K’un-Lun.”

Dragoncon Day 3: Danny Rand The Immortal Iron Fist.

I’ve done Iron Fist before but they’ve all been Lin Lie variations thus it was only a matter of time before I did my favorite IF Danny. Now I know Danny’s got some problematic undertones to his origin but I’m always gonna go to bat and say he’s a far more progressive character than he’s given credit for. That crappy tv show aside, if you actually dig into his history you’d find Danny is probably the widest white guy in comics history. But y’all crucified him cause a white boy did a lil kung fu and loved on Black Women. In any case, don’t ask me where Luke was last weekend

“There is a lot going on here. I get that. But I have a responsibility to the other worlds, too. There are parts of the Book of the Iron Fist that are unwritten. And right now, I’m the only guy with the pen.”
