This is our favorite funny video to make at events, so we had to make one for Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival! Now we know to be a little more realistic for next year. Do you usually stick to your budget for fiber arts events? It’s hard to resist all the gorgeous colors 🥲

Personally, I was so excited to see @ewetopiayarn and @fangirlfibers that my budget immediately went out the window! -Francesca

Special shoutout to Loren’s mom, Claire, for joining us on our field trip!

Our first Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival! We had a great time shopping, visiting all the sheep, and running into fiber arts friends!
Did you go? What was your favorite thing that you saw/bought? Let us know in the comments.

I’m not sure I was supposed to take pics. But I did anyway. Pfauw. @heyjanedont’s one woman show “Jane Don’t Does America” is can’t miss theatre. And not just because my gurls @athenadion and @thejuicylove are <ahem> featured.

As I told Jane at meet and greet … it’s like Bette Midler hosting Pee Wee’s Playhouse. And that is such a damn good thing. At that point, I started babbling incoherently. I also wanted to tell her it was as if such a show had been scored by the go-go‘s with direction by Kathy Griffin. But there was a long line and no one gives a hoot about my Lucille Ball starstruck tendencies.

I will no doubt process all of this and write something on my blog that 12.5 people will read. But this show is such an exquisite blend of travelogue and stand-up comedy and cabaret and acerbic agitprop commentary. And exactly the cultural inoculation we all need right now.

@johnfmola and I had a delightful dinner at @thesecretkitchen.official right before. An Indian culinary wonderland if designed by Gene Roddenberry.

Oh, Schaumburg, who knew you held such delights?
