Photos from our 09/18 match (unless you were supposed to be at work then, for legal purposes, these photos are actually from Saturday 09/19 😉).

Getting to move around and be dynamic with a firearm is always a good time. Only downside is it ruins static ranges for you forever.

@concealedcameraman absolutely killing it on photos as always. The photos from the day will be sent out shortly. If you like his work don’t forget to give Chris some love.

Solid day at the September 4th Manzano Gun RUNNERS USPSA match! 🔫
Shot both PCC and Open division and felt decent about the overall performance. Cleaned the stages with 0 FTSAs, which is always a win!

This what was my first match using Black Dot Ammunition and as previously mentioned, I am absolutely sold. Major difference for recoil management. My PCC felt significantly softer as did my Cosaint Havoc. Going forward I’ll be buying my 9 mm from them. Great prices and great ammo!!! @blackdotammunition

Stats: Picked up 5 Mikes on PCC and 6 Mikes on Open, so there’s work to be done on speed for the other stages, but the gains are definitely coming. The classifiers were great!

On a side note: here’s the picture Julian wanted. And Julian... please zoom into your waist because yes. @jgars_

Huge appreciation to Manzano Munitions and the entire crew for putting on such amazing USPSA matches (and don’t get me started on Keith and his culinary acumen) Looking forward to the next one on Labor Day Monday!

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot. Momo Tano enjoys making biscuits after my matches.

The real trophy is the friends we made along the way… and coming in 2nd place in the Single Action division at this years @southwesthandgunclassic hosted by @ohshoot_sc

Another successful LE only match put on by the boys down in SoCal! @american_snyder2.0 did a great job as usual! Always happy to see the SoCal guys! But even happier we had some more representation from NorCal this year! Hanging with the homies again was the real win!

AND HARDER I MADE IT.

Shot SOAP yesterday with a pretty incredible squad. (Hence, THE ENERGY) This was easily my worst match since all my recent progress, but context matters.

Over 20 hours awake, 12 hour shift, the drive was over an hour out, showed up late to the first stage & jumped straight into the bully beep.. Aaand a full switch to shooting BELT. Don’t misconstrue these as excuses, but rather — Regardless of the many reasons I had (and will continue to have) to instead go home and sleep, I show up.

I show up to add more onto my trial and error list. I show up to get the mistakes I later learn from out of the way. I show up to try something new. I show up to be apart of something so much bigger than me. I show up because each match makes me that much better. I show up when things aren’t in my favor. I show up to support my people. I SHOW UP.

Overall, you better believe I’m running it back. As disappointing it was to see the lack of sleep show and the performance dip — the people turned it into a core memory.

Grateful to step into a different chapter of my shooting journey. We don’t quit over here — we train through the problem & make it work with what we got.

Always fitted in @gymshark 🦈

Ji-ji-ji-ji-GYM SHARK - Support unmatched 🦾

If there’s one thing you can always bet on, it’s that Richmond puts on matches that truly test your ability to perform well under pressure. You’re surrounded by some HEAT.

I’ve caught myself getting so caught up in my head & I’ve officially hit a plateau — consistently sitting in the 70–75 performance percentile for about a month and a half now.

Today, we put the areas I needed to target to the test and pushed those limits. Excited to bring something new to the table.

Always in @gymshark 🦈

Where do I even begin? Beginning this sport was something God placed in my life at a time I needed it most. What started as curiosity quickly became purpose.

From learning how to “stop shooting like a cop!!!” to the countless trials and errors, the never ending frustration, the small wins that meant everything, and the community that welcomed me in — every part of this journey has shaped me. The friendships built along the way, the lessons learned under pressure, and the constant push to be better… I take all of it to heart.

I joke around a lot during matches, but behind the laughs is a deep love and respect for this sport. The discipline, the humility, the grit.. It all means more to me than I could ever put into words. This sport grounds me, challenges me, and reminds me why I show up, even on the hard days.

Grateful for the process. Grateful for the people. Grateful for the knowledge. Grateful for all the fuck ups. And grateful for the passion that continues to grow with every stage.
