@charlottecoffeeclub turns 1 this Saturday and I cannot wait to celebrate with y’all!

the last year has been so incredibly insane when @jon.livermore and I started this last year I don’t think either of us knew or expected what coffee club would become… personally i was just looking forward to trying new coffee shops and serving the unhoused populations with a couple a friends!

our first meet up there was 12 of us and now we consistently have over 200 volunteers show up to our meet ups. We now have a Board, Support Team as well as a media team. God truly has had his hand on this group/mission the entire time and I am eternally grateful.

it’s been such an honor to be able to build community over coffee, to serve our neighbors in need and to support local non profits to the best of our ability.

@jon.livermore I know we talk about the growth quite a bit but I must say I am truly grateful for our relationship.. when we first talked about coffee club we were more or less acquaintances, then we began studying Proverbs every week together and became friends , as coffee club grew as did our friendship and I can truly say you are my brother and in that it’s been THE most impactful/life changing friendship I have probably ever had. So blessed God placed you in my life and looking forward to whatever the future holds 🤝

When I first moved to charlotte I absolutely hated being here, I had no friends, no community and a broken spirit. now I absolutely love this city and have no intentions on leaving any time soon. I am so grateful for the community and support of people I have in my corner, it truly makes life a million times better.

This year has changed our lives forever. And I couldn’t be happier!
We got married, moved across the country, I joined a new running club and ran my first Chicago marathon.

Cheers to Friday and this fun fact—Our couple Mya and John named their signature mimosa “Fubulicious” after Fubu, their Pomeranian. He was also the ring bearer. 🐾
