Part 2 of 2

Incredibly thankful and overflowing with love after I was able to see friends and family this weekend back in SC. 🗣 803 🗣. I definitely got my miles in but it was worth it!

Started out in Lancaster, SC with the Ames' and their beautiful family in their beautiful new home. We enjoyed dinner at the RH Rooftop restaurant in Charlotte (🙏 Please come to Tampa).

Then I headed over to Bamberg, SC to have lunch with G-Ma Numero Uno Sherry James. Love you Grandma 🫶.

Finally, I ended my wonderful weekend as a groomsmen for the newly married Ahmad and Zykuria Walker (1 year is still new). I think everybody, their mama, and their mama's mama knew these two were going to be married one day. As expected as this beautiful union was, the amount of love, joy, and fun that filled the room was almost overwhelming in the greatest sense of the word. I didn't want to leave 😭. I met a few of my fellow groomsmen for the first time and now I got 4 more brothers, I saw people I haven't seen in person for years and the love is still there, I danced so much that I sweated out my tux, dried up, and sweated it again before the night was over. Truly a 1 of 1 experience. And shoutout to the lovely bridesmaids, yall knew every step to all 200 songs the DJ played. Had me kind of jealous. Shoutout to the DJ too! My guy only played the hits!

Long story short: I'm tired, but doing it for family & friends is the reason we all get up in the morning. I love my people!

2024: Most of these pics are from the last 6 months bc I can truly say that’s when I feel like life for me began again. From a cross country road trip with my mommy to serving kids in the sport I have loved for 20 years. I’m so grateful for every one of these memories and every one in between.

This year more than anything, I’m thankful for salvation — something I never thought I would say. I’m thankful for God’s Grace, glory, and to have put full faith into my creator. The beginning of this year looks much different from last and I couldn’t be happier, I feel excited for what’s to come in 2025.

Yesterday, we celebrated our soon-to-be one-year-old! This year has flown by fast and it has been the most incredible year of our lives. Genesis, ever since you came into this world you have brought so much joy and love into our lives, making every moment unforgettable. We are beyond blessed and we thank God every day for the gift of being your parents. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, and know that Mommy and Daddy will be with you every step of the way. We love you Genie Poo 🥹❤️

Vision, Love, and Intentionality 🤞🏾

Thankful for a day that we were able to spend time with family and shower our baby with so much love and joy! It meant the world to us and showed us that we are extremely blessed. One thing we know is that our babygirl is going to be born into a family of pure love ❤️

We can’t wait to meet you babygirl! We love you and look forward to seeing you!! ☺️

“My advice for someone starting out in the program would be to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to you. There’s so many different networking opportunities. Your professors are so knowledgeable and have great resources in the area that you have so many opportunities and so many ways to learn and develop yourself as an individual.”
