Other then the 40+ degree heat, it was a nice time - felt pretty old school to set shirtless all week… but the circumstances were exceptional.

We recently hosted our THIRD (!!) USAC L1 clinic for underrepresented setters in Chicago, and they never disappoint. This is such a beautiful and talented group and we can’t wait to see what they do next 🥹

Youth Bouldering Nationals 2026

Had the absolute pleasure of spending 359 (10) days working with a stellar crew.

Hard to really put it all into words or in pictures for that matter. We braved the sand storms together and put on a comp we can all be proud of.

The last month has been a blur.
I went back to Minnesota for my grandma’s funeral and got to see a lot of friends while I was home. It was really nice to be back, but it also reminded me why I’m so excited to be where I am now.
I had about a week back before heading up to Vail for the GoPro Mountain Games. I set for two days, drove back to Denver, caught a flight to Bend, watched @dylanbarks95 and @lexi_losacco finally get married, then less than 18 hours later flew back to Denver, drove back up to Vail, and kept setting.
I had a blast setting for the Citizens Comp at the GoPro Mountain Games. I also got to forerun for the North American Cup Series portion of the event. Thanks again to that crew for being so welcoming and letting me jump in. Thanks also to my crew for being so easy to work with.

Special thanks to my employer Setter Closet for being so flexible with my schedule to allow for all of this and also to Madrock. This was my first time getting to try out the Remora Pro in an actual comp scenario. I never thought I’d feel so secure on volumes.
