NFL QB ARM CARE 🏈🏈🏈

Elite QB performance starts with tissue capacity. Arm care isn’t just recovery — it’s managing workload, improving deceleration strength, and maintaining shoulder + elbow integrity through a long season.

𝐍𝐅𝐋 𝐐𝐁 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧: 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🏈🏈🏈

Velocity isn’t built in the arm—it’s transferred through it 🔗🏈

NFL quarterbacks spend the offseason refining how they produce and transfer force. We target upper extremity power, but it starts much lower in the chain with rotational force from the hips.

Here’s the breakdown:
⬇️ Force driven into the ground
🔄 Explosive hip rotation (primary driver)
🧱 Trunk stability + energy transfer
🚀 Arm acceleration + ball release

The numbers back it up: ~60% of throwing power is generated from the hips and lower body, while the arm acts as the final link to deliver that energy.

Better hips = better sequencing
Better sequencing = more velocity with less stress

Train rotation. Train transfer. Train like a quarterback.

Beyond vertical force in plantarflexion, the Achilles plays a key role in lateral stability and frontal plane control.

During lateral movements—like cutting, shuffling, hopping or single-leg deceleration—the tendon helps manage shear forces and supports dynamic control through its integration with the gastroc-solues complex and surrounding fascial structures.

BALLISTIC TRAINING ⚡️🏈

Ballistic training enhances neuromuscular efficiency and maximizes rate of force production—key for football athletes executing high-velocity, high-impact movements with violent intent. Train the CNS to fire fast. Deliver force faster.

Week VIII–X: The End

I fear beginnings far more than I dread an end. I’m much too grateful to be upset with any taste of opportunities like these, and in this case, I got ten weeks’ worth.

I fear reintroducing myself and the yearning for acceptance upon first impressions. This summer, my anxieties were quickly silenced through swift integration into a clinic I’ve admired for years. I didn’t expect to provide much for them, but I knew I would return the favor at any slight opportunity they gave me. I feel confident I came through on that.

I’ve always operated to put myself around people whom I wish to emulate in some sense. Through direct mentorship, copying and tweaking proven paths just clicks with me. In Dallas, I was intentional and present to really take all that I could from the experience. Now, I have a much clearer sense of what my own path and destination look like. That’s invaluable, really.

I’m proud of taking that leap away from my family, sleeping on the pull-out every night, putting 6,500 miles on my car, and saying yes to things. The PTs I pestered, laughed with, and interrogated - along with the patients I balanced with, learned from, and terrorized on the court, turf, and force plates - were far worth it.

I hope I gave some people a good time. Y’all gave the kids some bedtime stories.
