Congratulations to KSAS junior Eli Lesher @eli.lesher (Biophysics, Critical Diaspora Studies)!! Eli has received a 2025-27 Voyager Scholarship for Public Service, awarded by the Obama Foundation. 🎉🔥👏 The Voyager Scholarship, co-founded by the Obamas and Airbnb CEO and Co-Founder Brian Chesky, supports students who have a passion for helping others, experience serving their communities, and can demonstrate an expansive view of what’s possible through public service. The scholarship provides 100 students per year with $50,000 in financial aid over two years, a $10,000 stipend plus Airbnb credits to pursue a summer work-travel experience, and Obama Foundation programming, resources, and networking opportunities. Eli is JHU’s third Voyager Scholar since the program’s launch in 2022.
