✨Mini-Vlog✨

Had the best time yapping together over a 12 foot skeleton 🤪 We visited The Yard in McKinney, TX for some themed drinks, eats, and hangs! Excited for our next read together!

💬: Looking at my neighbor’s 12 foot skeleton a little differently nowadays 😂 Hbu?

✨Threshing Day Midnight Release Party✨

Had a great time with Kerri, Gabby, and Jackie at @bibliobartx last night celebrating the release of Threshing Day! I started it this morning and already know I’ll be binging the rest of it tonight!

If you’re in the DFW area make sure to go check out Bibliobar! They are also opening their new space soon and it’s gorgeous! #supportlocalbusiness

✨Book Club Mini-Vlog✨

Had such a great time co-hosting with @jothy.yoga 🥰 I I love tea parties and themed activities! I made a version of MASH to go along with The Knave and The Moon and was so happy to get Bartholomew as my ally 😍 Using songs that remind me of the book I’m reading is one of my favorite things to do and this song is Turn To Stone by Ingrid Michaelson! Highly recommend listening to it!

Also, surprise! I just posted yesterday that I was at 40% before book club and I instantly went home and binged the rest and finished the book! My girls weren’t kidding about how great the ending was 🥹 The rating remained the same but I absolutely loved how this story came to a close! What another wonderful word created by Rachel Gillig! Can’t wait for her next one!

✨Ch 2 of Plot & Pour BC✨

📖: The Knave and the Moon
Hosted by me and my co-host, Jothy

Even though I hosted, I will be completely honest and say I only read 40% of the book because I decided to do a reread of The Knight and the Moth right before and ran out of time! BUT after everyone spilled the tea (😉) during discussion, SPOILER-FREE mind you, I just know know I’ll be finishing this book ASAP! I MUST know how things turn out for Bartholomew, my favorite side character of all time! I will update this post with my review once I finish the book!

On a sappy side note, I haven’t hosted a book club in quite some time because I reached a point earlier this year where I just wasn’t in the best head space but over the last couple of months these girls reignited that passion and I locked in for my annual tea party 🙂‍↕️ Very grateful for good books and even better company!

💬: Have you read this book yet?

It is always a blast with this group - discussing books, playing games, enjoying each others company. What a treat it is to have this time together 🫶

The Knave & the Moon book club✨ and oh what a beautiful journey it was.

This duology is EVERYTHING to me. I am so filled to the brim with happiness that something so magnificent exists. @rmgillig , you are a true mastermind of your craft. I never want to leave the Stonewater Kingdom!!!!

The book picks up right where we leave off in the Knight and the moth (helloooo cliffhanger), and all of the excitement we experience was something else entirely. I feel like so much happens and the path we take is WILD. The ending of this book was truly something special. And if you are an audiobook listener, 20/10 recommended listening to this duology.

S/o to @coziwithricki for the most magical tea party 💜☕️🫖

(Scroll all the way to the end for a surprise 💀🤣)

✨BTS Arlington D2✨

Koya, Chimmy, and Tata walk into the AT&T Stadium for the Arirang World Tour, and what do they get?

Surprise song 1: Butterfly
Surprise song 2: DNA

This night was so so special for me because I was able to experience this show with my best friends and MOHs! Who would’ve thought that an accidental purchase of Sunday tickets (Gwen meant to purchase Saturday) would lead to one of the best nights of our lives?!

If you keep scrolling, there’s a clip where I panned across the stadium while BTS is singing Like Animals and it was in that moment that I realized why I love concerts so much and it’s because I just felt so much emotion knowing how unified people were with loving something so unapologetically! It’s truly a liberating experience and I’m not sure if that makes any sense or if I could’ve put it more eloquently but yeah I’m just so incredibly grateful

✨Medieval Maiden Summer✨

Thank you to Lady Jacqueline for planning a Medieval Maiden Summer! So much whimsy from crafting our hennins to singing karaoke along to medieval themed instrumentals of our modern day hits!

I read The Knight and The Moth last year and I’m so excited for The Knave and The Moon next month! I’m so ready for more of one of my favorite characters, BARTHOLOMEW! 🥰

✨Concerts✨

Is attending concerts considered a hobby? Well, if it is, surprise! NEW HOBBY REVEAL!

Prepare to be sick. of. me. Over the next couple of weeks because my most anticipated concert of the year is ONE WEEK AWAY! In honor of that, here are some of my favorite concerts I’ve been to over the past couple of years ☺️ Shoutout to bestie @jickie.lately! Can’t believe we finally get to see BTS after 6 years!

As you can see, I love to dress in theme so I’m excited for what I’m wearing next weekend! Any guesses? 😏

💬: Do you like any of these same music artists/groups?!
