Guess who just finished her FIRST NOVEL EVER!? 😭
Back in December, I got a contract to write a high school romance for an app.
The catch? I had never taken the course.
But I said yes anyway🤦🏽‍♀️.
I started writing in February and today I wrote the last word💃.
A journey of 164 chapters 😩, over 170,000 words and lots of pages🤘😌.
It was a rollercoaster of emotions for me:
Some days I couldn’t wait to write.
Some days I stared at a blank page for hours.
Some days I cried because I just couldn’t find the words.
Some days I disappeared for a whole week… then rushed to meet my word count at month-end 😅🤦🏽‍♀️
Writing this book taught me consistency and pushing past what I think is my limits💯.
I went from dreading “writing days” to looking forward to them🥰.
Here are some mistakes I made which I learnt from:
1. The contract came through a friend, so his name is on it as the author, which takes away my name and lots of benefits attached, that stung. But it pushed me to take the course and claim my name on the next one.
2. Skipping weeks taught me that showing up daily, even with 300 words, beats panic-writing.
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
I’m so excited to introduce you to:
SILK AND SCARS 🥰
A high school romance that started with hate relationship followed by family feuds and secrets unveiling.

Our parlour worship was a success to the glory of God🤲🏾🙏🏾💘
It's a vibe when young people gather to worship God, it encourages and make people know even in a generation without God, there are still people hungry to worship 🙇🏾‍♂️
