We spent years dancing professionally with Riverdance, and one thing we wanted to bring to NYC was that same feeling of connection, friendship, and community that dance can create.

So, we created Jig Social Club! A place to meet new people, try Irish dance, have a laugh, and be part of something. No experience needed, and you definitely don’t have to be Irish! 🇮🇪

Absolutely blessed to have spent this summer doing what i love most. From competing at the North American Irish Dance Championships, to performing as one of the original cast members of Next Steps production “Becoming” to helping with the Aroon summer camp, these past few months have been the most rewarding. It has full of incredible, supportive, and driven people, I could not be more lucky to make new friendships, and deepen the ones I already have. I owe everything to my parents, friends and boyfriend, my Aroon family, the whole cast and crew of Next Step and JigGig. Nothing in this journey would have been possible without the endless love and support of everyone in my heart. I love you, and heres to loving what we do x

Proud doesn’t even fully capture the profound feeling I have for this production. I am beyond honored to have been able to bring the story of Seneca Village to life with these amazing artist for Juneteenth 2026 in Central Park. Thank you @centralparknyc for the opportunity. This Juneteenth, we celebrated with Broadway’s DeWitt Fleming, Jr., and an intergenerational community of performers in the historic Seneca Village landscape in Central Park. Interpretive music, dance, and spoken word transported us back to Seneca Village in 1845, where Black New Yorkers built their own homes, churches, and a school. The performance explored how Andrew Williams’s 1825 land purchase evolved into a thriving community, which existed along what is now the Park’s perimeter from West 82nd to 89th Streets.

Directed by Tony Award-winning Broadway legend @bamssinc , the performance was written and conceived by DeWitt Fleming, Jr. and co-produced by DeW It Right Productions, with original works by @markeishamusic and @mikumari_caiyhe. African drum arrangements and dance by Khalil Kwame Brown.

Last week, my daughter, @_shannon.ryan_, participated in a beautiful Irish Dance stage performance as an original cast member with @nextstep.irishdance. It was the culmination of tons of hard work in a 6 day camp to help dancers learn more about performing on stage and take their next step in their dance careers. All of the cast members were amazing and multiple parents agreed that this camp was worth every penny. The choreographers and team put together something absolutely incredible. Just seeing the improvement in my daughter’s stage presence was amazing, but the entire performance was so inspiring. I’m so thrilled to have had the opportunity to also photograph the performance while attending as a parent and enjoying every minute of it. I can’t wait to see the videos! I still have more photos to edit, but for now, please enjoy these photographs.
