My Favourite Notification. ❤️

I think we underestimate the small messages. The random “did you eat?”, “text me when you’re home,” a stupid joke, a heart with no explanation, or simply “I miss you.” They’re only a few words, but sometimes they carry an entire person inside them. Because somewhere between their own chaos, work, thoughts and life, they stopped for a second and thought of you. And there’s something ridiculously romantic about that.

That little excitement when their name appears on your screen. The stupid smile. Reading five words twice because somehow they hit differently coming from that person. That’s intimacy too. Love doesn’t always need huge declarations or movie moments; sometimes it’s just two people quietly reminding each other, throughout the day: I’m here. I thought of you.

You matter to me. ❤️

I thought I knew what love was when the days were easy. It was simple to love the laughter, the late-night conversations, the beautiful moments that looked perfect in photographs. It was easy to love the version of someone who smiled, dreamed, and carried light wherever they went.

But then life happened.

The colors faded. The laughter became silence. The person I knew began fighting battles I couldn’t see. Some mornings they couldn’t get out of bed. Some nights they cried until there were no tears left. There were days when they pushed everyone away, forgot how to love themselves, and had nothing left to give.

That was the moment I learned the difference between loving someone’s sunshine and loving their storm.

Because real love isn’t proven when everything is beautiful. Real love is sitting beside someone when they no longer feel beautiful themselves. It’s holding their hand when they can’t find hope. It’s choosing them on the days they have nothing to offer except their brokenness. It’s staying when the rainbow disappears and the sky turns gray.

Anyone can love a person at their best.

But the rarest kind of love is looking at someone in their darkest season and quietly saying, “I’m not here because you’re easy to love. I’m here because you’re you.”

And sometimes, that’s the kind of love that saves a life.

I think the hardest part of losing someone isn’t the goodbye. It’s all the words that never found a place to go.

The messages you never sent. The stories you wanted to tell. The moments that reminded you of them. The instinct to reach for your phone, only to remember they’re no longer waiting on the other side.

People think healing is about forgetting. But sometimes healing is learning to live with the silence where a conversation used to be.

You don’t stop missing someone all at once. You stop expecting them to come back. And somehow... that hurts even more.

Because some people don’t just leave your life. They leave with the version of you that believed this time would be different.

Maybe that’s the quiet beauty of love. Even when it doesn’t stay, it proves your heart was capable of loving without limits. One day, that same heart won’t have to beg to be chosen. It will simply be met by someone who never makes it question its worth.

Some people are never meant to stay, no matter how much of yourself you give them. The hardest lesson isn’t losing someone, it’s realizing you were slowly losing yourself trying not to. You can’t force love where there is none, you can’t rush what God is preparing, and you can’t become someone else just to be enough for the wrong people. Every delay has a purpose, every disappointment has a lesson, and every closed door is making room for the one that was always meant for you. So protect your peace, stay true to who you are, pray while you wait, and trust that what God has planned will never require you to betray yourself.

The right people won’t ask you to change your color, they’ll love you because of it.

THE LOVE WRITTEN IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS..

Most people think love begins with fireworks.

It doesn’t.

It begins with two strangers standing close enough to hear each other’s silence. Before promises. Before forever. Before either of them knows what tomorrow will bring. There is only one quiet question neither dares to ask aloud:

“Will your footsteps still find mine when life becomes difficult?”

She never asked him to walk in front of her. He never asked her to stay behind him. Somewhere between her graceful steps and his steady ones, they discovered something far more beautiful, they chose the same pace.

Not because life was easy. Not because they never stumbled. But because every time one slowed down, the other did too.

Years from now, no one will remember the shoes they wore. They will remember the love that made two different paths become one story... until every step, every scar, every laugh, every tear, and every mile whispered the same beautiful truth:

“Where your footsteps end... mine will still be waiting.”

Some projects are more than just design jobs.
Tangra was one of those projects.

From the rebranding to every piece of wall art throughout the restaurant, I had the privilege of helping shape a space that tells a story before a single dish reaches the table.

Seeing Tangra reopen its doors in the heart of Soho, London, and watching people experience the atmosphere we created together fills me with pride.

Thank you, Tangra, for the trust, the freedom, and the opportunity to leave a piece of my creativity on your walls.

This one will always be special.
