I didn't post many of the end of year events, because I just wanted to enjoy them before I graduate. So here's my post for graduation. Thank you Westmoore for 4 amazing years that I'll cherish forever! Thank you especially to everyone in band and all my friends for all the memories made and for pushing me to be my best self!! You all have inspired me to continue to work hard! I truly love you all and I will miss you all so much!! Thank you for an amazing 4 years. 😁😁 GO JAGS ‼️‼️

I used to hate band my first two years and resented all the people in it. At one point I marked band at the bottom of my list of 5 classes during enrollment for the following school year. Right before enrollment was due, I marked it as my top class to prioritize. I have no idea why but it just felt right. Best decision ever!

I made the best memories so far in my highschool career with my band4lyfers. I spend more time with these fellas than my own family! Last year and especially this year I am proud to call these people my family. The positive reinforcement, the support, the high spirits during horrible weather, football games, celebrating ALL our achievements and placings together was an honor.

Suffering the pain of missing finals two years in a row hurt. It became personal. I wanted to experience state finals with all my bandlyfers. Finals this year was canceled because of weather but that didn’t stop us from having a spectacular prelims run. Hey guess what… WE MADE IT. WE MADE IT. RAIN OR SHINE THAT WASN’T GON STOP US! We were ranked 11th in the state for class 6A. If we had finals we would’ve got a chance to perform a second time.

To the current Saxes: The things you guys are going to accomplish is going to be awesome!Keep being that weird, happy and outgoing section. I’m going to miss all of our laughs, suit ups, dance parties and karaoke times. You guys have shown me what it takes to be a better leader. This year’s section was the most enjoyable section i’ve been a part of! Take care of Dexter! 😝

To my fellow seniors: We finally did it. We beat covid and we made Finals. We were part of a rebuilding program and got to be a part of its ups , downs, the peak and help pave a way for our lil homie’s success. Thanks for sticking with me on this long journey!

To my lil homies: You guys not little no more LOL..but seriously, I’m going to miss showing you guys the ropes of marching band, our silly little conversations and our hysterical laughs. Watching you guys grow into wonderful musicians and leaders over the year/years was the most rewarding experience. Make a positive impact and be the reason why people look forward to rehearsal!

It has been 4 years since The Pride of Westmoore made OBA finals.

Missing finals back to back became personal. It was our biggest driving factor this year by far.

Sitting out during the rain delays wasn’t gonna break us. Performing in the rain wasn’t gonna stop us. We were HUNGRY. Not for meatballs subs but for glory.

Covid was the start of a new chapter for our program. The start of a rebuilding program. Many questioned, doubted and didn’t believe we were capable of making finals and producing something great. We wanted to prove the nay sayers wrong… We did. We reached the peak and it’s only up from here baby!! Proud is an understatement. Oh yeah, we made finals this year btw.. LETS RIDEEEE😋

As my final chapter in marching band comes to an end I just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has affected my life in a positive way. From the contests to the football games and even the late night canes runs these are memories I don’t think i’ll ever forget. To the all my underclassman the advice I have for you is to take everything in stride, there is a lot you can’t control, but you can control how you let it affect you. Stay Positive! And to my fellow seniors, I love you guys thanks for being with me every step of the way. Once again thank you to everyone who has been in this chapter of my live! I love you all. I couldn’t ask for better people to go through this with.
