An urban shoe myth. A 1990s little girl’s favourite footwear. The foot’s most erogenous zone in the centre of attention. Mary Jane is my favourite type of shoe, and I remember the days when finding a pair in a size 43 was an impossible task. A black pair in apple leather from @jiijofficial was my first. Soon after, I got a pair of @marni ballet flats but their soles are so thin my flat feet hurt after 5 mins of wearing them. Over the years since, the Mary Jane has become a certified unisex shoe, with even sports brands like Asics, Adidas and Salomon embracing the toe cleavage. As someone who dreamed of wearing patent leather MJs as a little boy, I couldn’t be happier. 🎀 #fashionsexdisco
