i try to visit my family out in sonoma, california around july 4th every year i can, but this time was something so special. @jiinkytattoos and i brought all of our tattoo supplies with us and i got to spend a day tattooing all of my cousins, plus got to get matching tattoos with my step mom 🌓
jiinky and i drove down the pacific coast highway after our stay in sonoma and san francisco, such an indescribably beautiful drive down to southern california, which was my first time south of santa cruz!
little photo dump after the tattoo pics if you’re interested in my life <3 i feel so incredibly lucky to get to do cool things like this, are any of my followers from california? i’m definitely coming back next summer and will be reaching out to some tattoo shops for potentially doing some guest spots :3
thank you so much to my family for everything. can’t believe this is my life 🖤

hi everyone!! i thought now was the best time to reintroduce myself as well as share a huge update in my tattoo journey ✧

my name is effy, you might’ve known me as effs.tatts so here’s an official introduction to my new username as well! i’m also no longer an apprentice at genesis tattoo studio… because i’m now a full time artist!! it’s hard to believe it’s already been 2 years since i started my apprenticeship, but i’m still so excited for what’s to come. thank you so so endlessly to everyone who has trusted me with their skin in my time as an apprentice, i’ll always have so much gratitude ♡ and thank you to @rickyclipz for taking me on last summer and allowing me to continue to grow here at genesis! i feel so proud to call this shop my home ( ၴႅၴ

anyway please enjoy this silly slideshow of life and friends and stuff. i still have some dates left in march and am currently booking for april. again thank you so much to everyone who’s been here for this journey and trusted me and watched me grow so far, i truly am so lucky to call this my job ➹

p.s. are we ready for another friday the 13th?!
