Capones 🍾

I was lucky enough to be gifted a bottle of Prosecco due to winning the Hallam FM competition at Capones. It was a lovely treat even better that Megan has reserved us a seating area next to the bathtub. Megan was a lovely member of staff who greeted us and welcomed us with open arms.

It’s a great relaxed atmosphere at Capones I really do love it every time I visit I always enjoy. We then enjoyed trying the new artisanal sticks, which were small little cocktails, that are requested as sipping instead of shotting. These consisted of all different cocktails, which included Cherry Old Fashioned,Cranberry Bramble, Ginger and Honey, Mini Mojito, sparkling Passionfruit and Margarita sip. Something different and was really nice to try something new. Be aware these drinks are STRONG but had a fruity taste and for £20 you can’t really go wrong. Out of all the drinks Cherry Bramble was my favourite, so much added sweetness and I could have that in a cocktail form easily.

See you soon Capones, thank you for having us. Big shoutout to @meg_eustace, fantastic service.

📍West Street, Sheffield UK

The @sheffield_foodie_socials 1st anniversary event ! A whole year of meeting up with fellow food and lifestyle bloggers for great food and drink! It's been a blast! And so great to meet so many local foodies .

Thanks to @guyshi_sheffield for hosting this special event !

Guyshi is new to Sheffield , and didn't disappoint! You can order exactly what you want and they build a beautiful platter / stand of foods to BBQ on your shared table grill.

🍣They also have beautiful sushi noodles rice dishes and more!

🤖You may even get served by their cute cat robot server machine ! Amazing.

If you are looking for something fun, a bit different and social combined with amazing food this is the one ! Definitely one of my top recommendations in Sheffield.

🇹🇭🍗 NINGS N’ WINGS - Sheffield Foodie Socials - Bloggers Meet Up #18 🍗🇹🇭

THE COLLABORATION OF DREAMS 💞

Ning’s Thai @ningsthaistreetfood and Wing Kings @yorkshire.wingkings who are both former residents of OHM Food Yard joined forces last night to bring us the collab of the year - and we’re hoping it becomes a monthly thing??!

Our 18th meet up based at Nings in Sheffield City Centre, gave our local foodies the chance to order from BOTH of their menus under one roof and it went down an absolute treat.

We all indulged in the infamous crispy wings alongside some fantastic, authentic Thai Food. Portions were eye-popping, food was mouthwatering and as always the hosts and company was fabulous.

Thanks for having us @ningsthaistreetfood & @yorkshire.wingkings and thanks to our familiar and new Sheffield Foodies in our group photo who joined us!

Keep your eyes peeled for our next meet up and if you’re a Food Blogger, come join us!!

On Tuesday I had a lovely time getting to know other foodies in Sheffield thanks to the @sheffield_foodie_socials event!! AD|INVITE

We went to @kommune_ch and this was my first time trying here! I loved the concept of ordering on the app from different stalls so that you can try different food 😍 Great for if you don't know what you want / want a bit of a mix of cuisines.

A new business to join Kommune is Sapori, who serve delicious Italian food 🔥 From their stall I ordered their chorizo and nduja arancini and carbonara, both were so delicious! I'd definitely recommend the arancini which comes with a delicious slightly spicy tomato sauce 😋

@sheaf_foodies went for the chorizo and cod saffron risotto and although I didn't order it I did get to sneak a piece and have to say that it was fab! I will definitely go for that next time. I also really liked that the chef was cooking all the dishes fresh to order so you know the quality and taste was good 😍

We were also given a complimentary aperol spritz and normally I'm not keen to have one bc they top it with soda water but here they offered to switch it with lemonade which was great!!!

All in all I had a lovely time and it was so nice to meet some more fellow foodies 🙌🏽

🇮🇹 🍝🍹 Buon appetito
Great winter meet-up at @kommune_ch last night to try out the menu of the newly opened Sapori Italian Kitchen.

We tasted a range of Sapori's menu and everybody was happy with their choice, while we toasted our glasses of Aperol Spritz! 🥳

Another Sheffield Socials Foodies successfully completed 🥳

Hey foodies, keep your 👀 peeled here to see when our next event will be! And if you are a restaurant/cafe/pub based in Sheffield contact us to discuss about a collab with us 🥳

🇮🇹 Aperol Spritz🍹 + arancinis + tasty pasta anyone?

Who said it is winter, it's cold and we cannot have fun on a Tuesday out? Yes, we can and it was amazing to be in another @sheffield_foodie_socials meet up. This time we went to @kommune_ch to try the menu of the newly opened Sapori Italian Kitchen.

This time, Dean joined me as well and we had such a great evening! ❤

From Sapori's menu we tried bolognese tagliatelle, arabiata tagliatelle and pumpkin arancinis (my favourite 😋).

So next time you go to Kommune, check out this new place in their app 🥳
