I’m so thankful and proud to have been a part of such an amazing show called “I still see your ghost dancing in my room” at the Union Gallery with a talented group of artists (and great friends) in the 4o8 Collective. I am so curious and excited to see where we go next!

~ this feels so far from what I know ~

Jillian Beedell is an Ottawa-based artist who spent her first year of undergraduate study at Queen’s University and is currently pursuing a BFA at Concordia University in Tiohti:áke/Montreal. She works primarily in painting and drawing, through which she attempts to translate feelings of nostalgia, metamorphoses within the psyche, and the extent to which personal perspectives colour our external realities.

Our debut exhibition is still on display at the @union_gallery until Saturday March 26. A big thank you goes out to @carinamagzz, @poorthingdesigns and @__alxndrr__ for all of their hard work in putting this together. We are incredibly grateful for all of the love and support we have received thus far. Make sure to check it out before it’s gone.
