Baptism Sunday (with a really long emotional caption):

I love baptisms. They always fire me up, but this one is extra special and that’s simply because of the stories shared at each baptism. Just “ordinary” people being faithful and changing the world.

- Logan. His sister got on fire for Jesus and invited him to church. He saw her life change, was drawn by it, came to church, and his life was forever changed by Jesus, and his sister.
- Brooke. Was invited by Logan and his sister to church. She was also drawn by both of their lives being changed and now her life is forever changed by Jesus, her friend, and her friend’s brother.
- Ruby. Invited to our student ministry by a friend from school who lived out what she believed, and loved Ruby enough to invite her into that. Her life is forever changed by Jesus, her friend, and trusted adults inside the student ministry.
- Holly. Has a phenomenal family that loves Jesus. She came to the realization that her faith needed to be her own and that she needed to take it seriously. Her life was forever changed by Jesus, her parents, and trusted adults at youth group.
- Britain. Was invited by HOLLY at school to come to youth group. Her life has been forever changed by Jesus, Holly, and her small group leader.
- Atticus. Also has a phenomenal family that has pointed him to Jesus his whole life. He went to a VBS as a 5th grader where he heard the Gospel again, it clicked, and now he was being baptized by his dad. He life is forever changed by Jesus, his family, and faithful kids ministry leaders.
- Elena. Has so many family members that have pointed her to Jesus so when her adopted mom asked if she wanted to respond to the Gospel, she was ready and was able to be baptized by her uncle and pastor. Her life has been forever changed by Jesus, her family, and her local church.
- Nathan. Nathan was invited to youth by the same girl who invited Ruby. He heard the Gospel, surrendered to it, and was faithfully plugged in with his small group for a year now before he finally said yes to Jesus. His life has been forever changed by Jesus, a friend from school, his small group, and his small group leader Ashton.

Sorry not sorry for a second post! The joy of serving is just so good. Heartland is a place I have gotten to call home for 3 summer and I has stolen my heart forever! What a joy it is to comfort campers and build a community that feels like a little piece of heaven on earth
Oh yeah I forgot to mention I got the blessing of directing a camp and leading kids in learning about Christ

WONDER - HEARTLAND 2026 🌎💫⭐️
( camp counselor edition! )

What a privilege & a joy it’s been to serve the kingdom of God this summer!💗 Hundreds to thousands of kids were able to hear, witness, and respond to the love & good news of Jesus Christ!! From camper to counselor, it’s so surreal to be part of something bigger that also shaped my own faith and who I am today. Like UM HELLOO?

This summer we got to ask ourselves questions:

What if..

We Belong to God?
God is Bigger?
God Keeps His Promises?
God is More than Enough?
God changes the world through us?

These questions allowed everyone to truly wonder about who God really is! This summer I’ve been reminded to find peace & rest in God's mighty hand at work, instead of worrying about whether I’ll ever measure up or what I don’t have control over. God is already enough and already knows everything!! Of course, this is not a flip of a switch, I still struggle with these anxious thoughts, however, I’ve found comfort knowing that we don’t need to have it all figured out! How wonderful are His works!!

I’m so blessed beyond measure to have met so many brothers & sisters in Christ that are able to grow together in our faith, TYJ for these amazing souls. There is no coincidence You’ve placed them in my life!💝

Thank you Lord for this gift of an opportunity. I pray for many fruitful summers ahead, allowing kids to see the love of Christ in & out of camp!

My heart will always be at Heartland, God bless y’all 💓

“You bloom wherever you are planted”

This summer was filled with doing what I love, accomplishing goals, and being reminded that growth isn’t always measured by your best days. Every challenge showed me where I can improve, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for!

I’m so thankful for the opportunities, the people I met along the way, and everyone who continues to believe in me! 🤍
