I am fully in my cowboy romance era, and anyone who has been following me for a while has likely picked up on that. The queen of cowboy romance @authorelsiesilver is 100% where my obsession began.

When I saw these @fairyloot special editions were available I knew they were a MUST and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The covers, the dust jackets, the sprayed edges, all the details are just perfect!

I have saved a spot on my bookshelf for months because I knew these were coming, but now I can’t decide which part needs to be displayed!

Special thanks to @bookshelf.at.tiffanys for holding my hand through all of it 😂

QOTD: Do you love fictional cowboys and if so what is your favorite series? I’m always happy to add hot cowboys to my tbr!

✨Skipping TBR Line✨

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Overall: I saw one recommendation for this book from @jilliansreading and I was sold. It skipped all the books on my never ending tbr and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Worth skipping. It was such an easy, breezy read. I’m a total sucker for forbidden/ workplace romance, so this one hit. The parallels with Sixteen Candles made me realize it has been far too long since I’ve watched that movie and need to. One ick I had with the book was how “tiny” she was. It was brought up like 4-5 times. We get it. She’s small that’s not a personality trait.

This book doesn’t have the world’s greatest writing and in depth thought and riddled with life lessons/wisdom, but I enjoyed it for what it is. I will be reading more of this series in the future for sure.

📕📗📘📙**GIVEAWAY**📕📗📘📙

Let’s make this a 90s girl summer! We are bringing back sticker charts to go along with rekindling our love of reading!

Some people read faster than others so there is no minimum number of books, but use this chart to give yourself a sticker each time you finish a book. I encourage you to treat yourself to a personal pan pizza each week too, Book It style!

When you add a sticker to your chart share it to your stories and tag me. Everyone who posts their sticker chart will be entered for a chance to win.

What do you win, you ask? Well this is a 90’s themed giveaway so there will be no Amazon or Barnes and Noble (no hate, so glad they’re popping up again!) here. Instead I will send the winner a $25 e-gift card to the indie bookstore of their choice.

I’ll draw a winner during the beginning of August so make sure you’ve posted by August 1st for a chance to win!

Requirements:
📖 Follow me
📖 Add “stickers” to your chart as you read
📖 Share sticker chart to your stories by Aug 1st
📖 Treat yourself to books you enjoy (ok that’s not required to win but it’s what makes the books worth your time!)
📖 Must be willing to share your name and email address to receive e-gift card

Bonus Entries:
📚 Tag a book bestie in the comments
📚 Share this post to your stories

I will upload this same image to my stories if you want to snag it from there.

May the odds be ever in your favor!

My favorite read of April 📖 🌷 Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage

I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series but this one stuck with me. Maybe it was the references to Dashboard Confessional or the tattoos or just the fact that Dusty seems like a fantastic book boyfriend.

This is the second book ever to leave me with a book hangover. (Things We Left Behind was first and led to a few dnfs if I’m not mistaken) I forced myself to start a new book, which I actually loved as well, but Dusty and Cam are just something special.

There wasn’t as much cowboy-esque romance to this one but I loved it just the same!

@authorlylasage you killed it with this whole series but this book is the best of the best!

My favorite books of the each month are included for fun:
💗 All The Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles
🖤 The Storyteller by Dave Grohl
💜 Sin With Me by Brooke Montgomery
🧡 Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage

When a Barnes and Noble trip is needed the same day as World Book Day so you treat yo shelf, then you come home to book mail! Is this how it feels when the planets align?

Turns out to be yellow themed books for me today, too 💛
