It’s always exciting to see who the #volleyball teams get to come play in the #VLA Cup, the penultimate event of the season. On Team LVC, one of the new recruits is @christian.prayer , who alongside veteran @mremartin5 are both coaches in the @a10conference at @davidsonvb and @masonvolleyball respectively.

Team LVC finished 2nd overall in the gold bracket division and will be looking to defend their Tier 1 Champions title in Orlando 🙌

Better late than never… All glory to God, National Champions!

When I first got to Loretto, I never could’ve imagined the next five years would turn out the way they have. Saint Francis will always be a pivotal part of my life. Besides volleyball, I made a lot of great memories and lifelong friends during my 3 years there. I gave everything I had, but I had no more passion to play. It was a depressing and empty feeling. I wanted to quit more than anything, but I decided to enter the portal. Transferring was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.

God works in mysterious ways as I never thought I’d end up in Springfield of all places. Honestly though, I couldn’t be more grateful I did. Thank you @springfieldmvball for the invaluable lessons, countless memories, and teammates I can call family. They’ve helped me through more than I can say, and I wouldn’t be here without them. Even through all the hardships and the ups and downs, this has been the best two years of my life. It’s tough to see it end. I wish I had more time and not be such short lived, but I can’t be more thankful for everything on and off the court this program has done for me. I couldn’t ask for a better way to go out or a group of people to do it with🔻

This is the calm before the storm ⛈️ Get ready to see your favorite #mingos 🦩 take on the #VLA East Cup this weekend, April 25-26 at the Mohegan Sun Casino 🎰

Historically, whichever Tier 1 team wins this event has gone on to win the Tier 1 Championships 🏆#FeelingLucky

Or is this the year where a Tier 2/3 team will finally take the cup? 🤷‍♂️ With strong contenders @dcdynastyvla and @theaustinjam showing up, who knows what will happen. Stay tuned… 📺
