Eddie Smith the Potter embodied the spirit of “Live Life Like A Festival”⭐️ His playful spirit, dedication to art and tradition, joy filled dancing and love of festival life was infectious in all good ways. The ART section of my book is dedicated to Eddie- the book is at the publishers now getting prepped for printing as Eddie is crossing the rainbow 🌈 bridge of life. I had so hoped to sit down with him and hear his adorable laugh seeing his dedication. While that won’t be able to happen now, I am so grateful the book will keep a bit of his spirit in our remembrance and I am so grateful LEAF gave me the gift of being friends with Eddie for 30 years. He was loved. He was love. If you have one of his mugs….cheers and keep buying art from artists. #livelifelikeafestival #vintageLEAF #whyidowhatido Thanks Sam Ganly for this first photo⭐️

Had the opportunity this past week to create something with four musicians I’d never worked with before — and words don’t quite capture the depth of the experience.
It’s something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making it happen — I’ll never forget the time we shared.
Shoutout to Neal and Max at The Doghouse Studio for their professionalism and genuine love for the craft, and to the band — thank you for letting me be a part of something so special.
Can’t wait to see what comes next.

P.S. I never post on here — is this how you do it?

no words seem fitting enough to describe it, but this week has been one of the most life-changing experiences i've ever been through. i spent 7 days learning from the greats, wrote 3 incredible songs with 4 incredible people, and got the chance to perform them for my heroes. thank you for everything @vixcamps, i'll be back 🩷

It was a fine night at the old Berkeley Cafe last night. Live music is alive and well in Raleigh. It was also a bonus seeing Ricardo Granillo after 25 years! #berkeleycafe #firebrandsband #jimrobertspercussion #jasonbarker #cocktailkit #manukatchejuniorkit

Tracked some upright bass and drums with the new (to me) @jzmics V47, which nicely lived up to expectations. #jzmicrophones #jimrobertspercussion #shenbasses
