Heaven’s got a plan for you, Valentina 🙏

When we started Valentina’s Village, we knew we couldn’t do this alone.

So we asked for a village - and you joined.

What we’ve learned since is that people want a village. They want to belong to something bigger than themselves, to show up for each other, to be part of a story that matters.

On Friday night, you proved this as 1,400 of our village filled White Bay Cruise Terminal - it truly was an evening of hope.

Seeing our community come together for Valentina was something we will carry with us forever. There were old friends and new faces, people from interstate, people who’ve been with us from day one and people who only heard our story a few weeks ago. Every one of you showed up with open hearts.

Together, you raised $1.124 million towards Valentina’s world-first treatment.

For a long time, this journey felt impossibly big. Standing in that room, looking out at our village, it finally felt within reach. With you in our corner, it feels so attainable.

Thank you to Prof. Leszek Lisowski and the Gene2Cure team for giving us a reason to hope. And thank you to every one of our village for the support through the most challenging season of our lives.

We’re not done yet, but we’re closer than ever 💜
