Yesterday I put down my walking boots and ironed a shirt for a corporate talk on Men’s Mental Health alongside @jimmyells and @malcolm_vincent_uk at the @lifeplus.official European HQ. The talk was to celebrate Men’s International Day and discuss our personal battles with Mental Health, talking about the dark times but most of all how we pushed forward and came out the other end with a changed mindset.
I can definitely say that I’m better at waking dogs than public speaking but I believe that it’s important to push ourselves constantly and feel uncomfortable on a regular basis in order to grow.
Gone are the days of Man the F#%! Ups, today to man up is to talk out about your feelings in order to not hit that dark place!
If you are feeling low please reach out, personally I recommend taking to someone who’s been through a similar situation who can guide/mentor you through the lows.

Happy Men’s International Day to all you awesome man out there just trying to do your best.
