It's the beginning of the month, which means artist payouts are going out! We currently have eight folks who sell work here on commission- 5 ceramicists, 2 fiber artists, and one stained glass artist. We did a total of $700 in commission artist sales for March, and it feels good to know that that money is staying right here in the community.

Our pottery section ebbs and flows as our artists work on new batches, so we're always open to new folks! Interested? For more details, you can DM us here or email hello@desertandvinebotanical.com.

Current artists:

@fn___art (pottery)
@ra_rachel (pottery)
@jimraley (pottery)
@happyhappypots (pottery)
@kimlaneartandceramics (pottery)
@ibu_textiles (woven plant rugs, keychains, macrame)
@ligtenberg.studio (crochet scrunchies, macrame)
@leejohnglass (stained glass propagation stations and decorative plant stakes)

✨️ Still need stocking stuffers? ✨️

Here are owner Rachel's picks for easy yet thoughtful little presents!

✨️ Shaped beeswax candles- natural, clean-burning, and smell like honey

✨️ ROEN "De Las Flores" Candle- amazing floral scent, and you can repurpose the jar as a pot

✨️ Cactus Match Tubes- cute and functional (I already have one at home 🤭)

✨️ Poppy & Pout Lip Tint in "Penny"- my go-to for a little touch of color without worrying about getting lipstick on glassware, teeth, or my fella

✨️ Vintage Flower Magnet- tempted to start a vintage magnet collection

✨️ Date Better Hazenut Praline- super messy to eat but absolutely delicious

✨️ Tizz Tangerine Soda- a "healthy" soda! In nan cans and everything, my newest addiction

✨️ Tochi Salted Egg Popcorn- somewhere between salted egg Lays and kettle corn, I blink and the bag is empty

✨️ Ginger June "Pillow Talk" Bath Bomb- smells amazing and made with ingredients you don't have to worry about putting on your skin

✨️ Jungle Club Shears and Snips- the shears are super sharp, and the snips are great for both houseplants and cutting herbs in the kitchen

✨️ Beaded Plant Hanger- perfect for smaller plants, simple enough to fit most decor styles

✨️ Maeve Peanut Butter-fly Chocolate Bar- my current favorite of the Maeve selection, at least until we try the new flavors arriving next week 😉

✨️ Ibu Textiles Keychain- handmade with recycled rope, in a bunch of fun colors

✨️ We the Wild Grow Bulb- an essential in our house, especially because we love the soft, golden light (not too harsh, still gets the job done)

✨️ 4" Philodendron Green Congo "Copper Flame"- because plants can be stocking stuffers too and who doesn't love a unique Philodendron 😍

✨️ Dragonfly Garland- we have the butterfly garlands too, but dragonflies are such a fun twist

✨️ 2" Beetle Pot from JRPotter- locally made pottery with gorgeous designs, the beetle is a personal favorite

✨️ Ligtenberg Studio Beanies and Scrunchies- the most snuggly beanie you'll ever put on your head, hand-crocheted in East Nashville (I might be a little biased, I'm the one that makes them 🤭 but I love them and the Scrunchies are a great stocking stuffer)

✨️ Desert and Vine Bumper Sticker

✨️ Maypop Sparkling Water (one of our original market booth neighbors way back in 2020!)

Almost skipped the farmers market yesterday. So glad I didn’t! My favorite pottery was there and I almost missed them had not looked to my right. Added another to my collection. ❤️

When choosing our vendors for MADE SOUTH Markets one thing we focus on is variety. This year’s pottery category brings SO MUCH variety and we couldn’t be more excited! Take a quick glance of the uniqueness of each of our 4 potters, and then come see them at our markets!
