This year my family decided to go all out and send my mom on a vacation to Mexico. In honor of her, I created an art piece for a series of family shirts to surprise her with. Each butterfly represents one of her children, my siblings, in two of our favorite colors. (yes we’re counting black also). Anyways more on that later. For now check out the process of building this illustration. Using a very specific method by @dkngstudios. Again, before anyone asks, this is how I did the grain technique. Actually drawing things, well that parts up to you. Step 1. Create a circle. Step 2. Draw the rest of the owl. More circles Decorations for the circle. Plants. More plants! Hella more plants! Butterfree, I choose you! Tada! Any questions?
