On September 4th, I married Dylan.

But there were three of us walking down that aisle. This wasn’t just a wedding. It was the day our family became official.

I’ve thought a lot about how to describe this special week, and I keep coming back to the people. My parents, Helen and Chuck, who hosted the week. Janet and Al, who raised the amazing woman I now get to call my wife and who welcomed me like I’d always been theirs. Friends who flew in from every corner of the world; the new faces on Wednesday became family by Friday. And Diana Ross on Thursday night, singing the songs Dylan grew up on.

Then we disappeared into the desert for a while. No schedule, no speeches. Just red rock, still water, and the quiet that comes after the best week of your life.

Dylan: A year and a half ago I told you I was different. You believed me. Everyone who meets you falls in love with you. I just fell first. I truly am the luckiest man alive.

What a weekend. Bachelor and bachelorette parties in Montana (missing a few of you!) — and it meant everything getting to take my closest friends to a place I grew up going to. Fishing, shooting, golf, rodeo, fireworks, a float trip, and just ripping around the ranch. I love you so much, Dylan. Can’t wait to be your husband. 🇺🇸🤠

Truthfully, birthdays aren’t always great. Sometimes I’m excited for a fresh start. But sometimes I’m utterly overwhelmed.

I think, has it really been a year since I decided “THIS is the year I’ll create a life of peace”?

A year later, I still get upset, frustrated, stressed and sometimes sick.

What did I do wrong?
Did I not heal enough?
Was I not committed enough?

How many years is it gonna take to find peace?

This birthday I threw a massive party, with the help of incredibly generous friends.

And right when everyone started to arrive, my inner turmoil bubbled up into an overwhelming crescendo.

I retreated to a side garden, hidden away from all celebratory attention.

And I did the one thing that gets my energy right every time: I got help from spirit.

I entered a meditative state and accessed the Superconscious.

And with its help, I commanded all the pent up overwhelm around being “one year older” to be released from my body.

As I witnessed all the frustration, stress, angst and impatience leaving my body, I cried.

It was like a dam broke.

A few moments later, the clarity I felt was disarming. A new awareness came to me. A deeper truth:

I am doing enough.
It IS working.
I am creating peace.

But most importantly: I came here to learn and grow.

I may not have everything figured out. But I have more figured out than I did last year.

And as each year brings new challenges, I continue to grow from them.

Every time I overcome my own energy blocks, I level up my abilities and become a better healer.

My own growth and ability to help others heal, is my path. And it’s more important than my peace.

Truthfully, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

btw, the party ended up being a dance-off rager. Just what I dreamed it would be.

Why am I telling you this?

Because you’re always just one healing session away from inner peace.

And when the going gets tough, get help from spirit.

If you’d like help overcoming your own energy blocks, and how to heal them with the help of the Superconscious, I’d be happy to support you.

Just comment SPIRIT and I’ll reach out to learn more about your inner obstacles and see how I can help you.
