Kyan’s 1st Day of School! 🥹💯🥰🧩🔥🙏🏾

So yesterday 6/14 was Kyan’s first day of his new program - NeurAbilities! This is an ABA program (Applied Behavioral Analysis) - a therapy that helps kids with autism learn, deemed medically necessary for treatment. 🧩
This step, is the next step into Kyan’s continual progress! And as scary as it is stepping into something new, it is absolutely necessary for his growth! And…
IT IS TIME!!!
Ofc yesterday was an emotional rollercoaster 🥹💞 We were happy, anxious, excited..ready, not ready 😂, missing him, but most of all we felt proud and grateful! 🥹🥰😘🙌🏾💯🔥💪🏾
Kyan has come such a long way since the news of him showing red flags for autism. And in the past few months, his speech (which is his biggest barrier) is improving immensely! Not only that, it’s his desire and effort to want to vocalize has grown! Thank You Jesus!
Yesterday, as we were walking to the school, Kyan unprovoked, said “JESUS!” And that’s when I lost it 🥹😭. Even tho it truly hit me at that moment, I was overjoyed that he knows the name of Jesus and I believe that was a reminder that God is with him and has him covered!!!
Whew! 😅 Our babyboy, our big boy, our fatboy.. “Every little step you take, we will be there!”

Community CleanUp’s Flag Football Event this Saturday that just passed was nothing short of amazing‼️

We haven’t posted in awhile and have been doing some behind the scenes work but we planned to end the year strong and wanted this to be our igniter🔥

It was truly a success as we had youth from my @bethelhighwaychurch, youth from Delaware, and even youth from the community come play‼️ We had so much fun and got to build with old faces and connect with new ones‼️ We even had some cheerleaders and a lil lady put on some flags and play with the boys‼️ Obviously Team Kev won however the real victory is the seeds planted and watered‼️ There’s still so much more work to do‼️

Please like, share, comment, and tag a friend‼️
Follow us as well to stay notified about everything Community CleanUp is doing as we try to work our part to clean up the city‼️

We want to thank everyone that came out in support‼️
