A month can hold a lot. And while we tend to photograph the good times, there’s so much life that happens between the photos, behind the scenes.

August held many highs and lows, sunrises and sunsets, firsts and lasts. But through every moment, the Holy Spirit was there guiding us, comforting us, drying our tears, cheering us on, and reminding us that we were never alone. Where would we be without You?

Our final summer travel baseball tournament took us to Cincinnati. The team played some great baseball. It was bittersweet thinking about a long season of summer travel coming to an end. But endings bring new beginnings and we are so blessed for the promises Gods placed in front of us. Here’s to seasons past, present and future. God’s grace guides us through them all.

I knew it was coming—the last first day of school they’ll share. Madi’s a freshman, Jaden a senior and as they drive off to school I’m left in awe of the fact that we’ve been entrusted to raise these amazing humans. God! Your good. Thank you will never be enough.

Another baseball adventure in the Arizona heat. ☀️⚾️

Grateful for every mile, every memory, and God’s faithfulness in every season. So much to be thankful for.

“Scott has left the ball yard left center with a grand slam.” It was a good day.

A lot of people don’t understand why we travel so much for baseball. For the past 6 summers, we’ve traded normal weekends for life on the road—hotel rooms, endless miles, blazing heat, dirty jerseys, laundromats, disrupted routines, and more money than we’ll admit.
But what have we gained? Dedicated family time. Irreplaceable memories. Places we’d never visit otherwise. Friendships that became family. Countless laughs, unforgettable games, cheering until we’re hoarse, and watching our kids grow up. You don’t have to understand it. Just know…we wouldn’t trade it for anything. ⚾️❤️ #TravelBall #wortheverymile #scottsibs

That’s a wrap on middle school and I can’t believe it. Our girl is a freshman. Lord slow it down. It is the blessing of my life to watch you grow up, navigate hard things and come out the other side even brighter. You are a light in His Kingdom and you’re just getting started. Oh how I love being your mom.

It’s tough to find the right words to fully express what you mean to your father and I or how much we love you. But we know that God has wonderful plans for your life and your future and pray His blessing be upon you as you continue to walk the path He’s laid before you. We love you Jaden. Happy 17th birthday bear.
