Some behind the scenes of the shoot I did for @claudeai a few months back about my astrophotography. It was such a sick experience to film with a rad crew and get to spend a few days out in Death Valley National Park capturing my first Milky Way panorama photo (swipe all the way to the end) Thanks @looponline for the epic time! 🌌📷🎥

I wasn’t the photographer for @bridgett_d’s @helgathefilm, her first time back in the director’s chair in 30 years. That honor goes to our daughter, the quite capable @shotzbyabbie. However, I hung out on the set a few times, and here are a few of the shots I captured. The fun part? I got to use my Fujinon 56/1.2! I hardly carry it, certainly not for street. So this was a real treat to be reminded of what it can do. #filmset #behindthescenes🎬 #photography #fujilove #womendirectors

Honeybees 🐝, My heart is really full. 💛 Over the past few months, I’ve been serving as the Creative Producer and Social Media Manager for @helgathefilm, the newest short film by the incredible @bridgett_d. During one of our conversations, Bridgett shared that she wanted to contribute more stories about the interior worlds of Black women. The softness. The complexity. The quiet parts of our lives that deserve to be seen. I remember thinking… That’s exactly why I make films, too. But beyond the work itself, what I’ll carry with me is the way she led. She created a space filled with generosity, care, and people who genuinely wanted to see one another succeed. So many people kept saying, “This is so rare.” But I left believing something different. Maybe this is the beginning of something that no longer has to be. May we keep making beautiful work. May we keep choosing each other. And may we never stop believing there’s room for all of us. 🫂 Thank you, Bridgett, for trusting me with Helga. What a joy it was to be part of this journey! XOXO, 🐝🥺🫶🏾
