Happy Friday, friends! Today, we’re featuring a big believer in the power of community @jjho8, as a member of The Alliance. We continue to feature each of The Alliance members for the International Mobile Film Festival 2027 and beyond. A group of superheroes in the industry assembled, aligned with a mission led by IMFF founder and director, Susy Botello, to bring IMFF closer to the global mobile and indie filmmaking community. Justin Ho is an award-winning filmmaker who graduated with honors from New York City’s prestigious School of Visual Arts (SVA) with a BFA in Film/Video and a concentration in Cinematography. During his time at SVA, he wrote and directed eleven short films. His freshman film, Silence, won Best College Student Film at the Garden State Film Festival. Justin’s thesis feature film, Placebo, was showcased at numerous festivals, earning multiple nominations and awards. His second feature, Minor Motion Picture, won Best Showcase Feature Film at the Soho International Film Festival. More recently, two of his short films garnered numerous awards during their festival runs. Justin continues to write and direct, and his latest feature film, Broken Pieces, has won awards at 13 film festivals and received multiple additional nominations. One of the awards was Best Feature Film at the 2025 edition of the International Mobile Film Festival. 📱🎬🏆 Find out more about our “Global Alliance” on our website. Big thanks to @thenorthfilmfest for one final festival screening of Broken Pieces. Ticket link in profile. Nominated for: Best Feature Best Director – Feature Film Best Actress – Feature Film @dianasalina I honestly thought the festival run for Broken Pieces was already finished, but since this fest is run by the same people behind the Barcelona screening, I figured why not submit one last time. Yes, 10:30am on a Thursday is definitely an early screening time haha, but regardless it’ll still be nice seeing the film on a big screen one more time. I’m also looking forward to meeting and talking with the other filmmakers. If anyone in NYC is able to swing by, that’d be awesome. Totally understand it’s an early one though haha. Screening order: Feliz Fall, Witches! – Dir. Lorena Monagas – 2 min – USA Love is Stronger Than Hate – Dir. Yoey Garfield – 10 min – USA Broken Pieces – Dir. Justin Ho – 1 hr 22 min – USA #thenorthfilmfestnyc #thenorthfilmfest

Last night the gang got back together for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair — and it was EVERYTHING. ⚔️🍿 Seeing my favorite Tarantino film the way it was meant to be experienced made the night feel epic in every sense. Huge thanks to the crew who rolled out for the cinematic carnage: Jackie, Justin Ho, Rob Mannanice, Matt Larue, and Teddy-Jo. Nice seeing everyone together! ❤️🎬 Nights like this remind me why movies matter — the energy, the craft, the shared experience. More of this in 2026. #hahnfilms #movienight #tarantino
