“Hi”🥹 My first look with my dad on my wedding day unlocked a core memory🤍

I grew up going to daddy-daughter dances with my dad. Every year we would get dressed up, go out to dinner, and then head to the dance. I swear we did it for like 10 years.

Once I outgrew that, we started just doing dinner dates together. Throughout college and grad school, my dad would drive to pick me up, sometimes with flowers in hand, and take me out on a sushi date. These are some of my most favorite memories with him and they will forever hold a special place in my heart.

On my wedding day, I did a first look with my dad. He didn’t know what my dress looked like, my veil, or how I was going to do my hair. He wanted to keep it all a surprise. I think we can both agree it was worth the wait🥹
