NV Worship’s first ever Songwriters’ Open Mic Night was a success- thank you to each of y’all that came out! We had five writers share their original music in two different writers’ rounds, and our church family showed up to support and cheer them on in the best way! What a sweet night. We’re looking forward to the next one, and hope to see you there!

These months sure stay busy.
Camping in the Smokies, seeing friends almost every day, loving on ALL the puppies (new and familiar! Yes, that really is Dixie’s litter sister!), seeing results from life changes and ending it all at the beach. What an eventful past 31 days.
Random videos at the end are:
• nostalgia that comes to mind anytime someone says “lighten the load”
• video of Bella my brother took on his last visit
• beach kittens playing on the trees

Summer has been fun, but I’m ready for Fall! 😁

Meet J’Lista (JJ), one of our worship leaders and our Worship Ministry Resident at New Vision! You might have seen here around singing + playing key in ministries from students + college to weekend worship and everything in between! She’s been serving at New Vision since 2021, and just officially joined our staff in July of this year. She loves getting to serve with amazing and talented people, and getting the opportunity to form relationships with others who love the Lord! Her favorite memory is actually students camp 2026! She loved every part of it, whether it was hanging with the students or playing keys. Her favorite worship song currently is “Never Lost” by Tribl + Maverick City. Outside of work, she loves sports like basketball and football, so whenever you see her around, feel free to have a converstation with her about sports! Drop a comment for JJ below + tell her hey next time ya see her in the halls at NV!
