My twin. My muse. My Jordan. The moment I first saw you dance, I knew we had years of exploring ahead of us. You’ve shaped my heart, and sharing this last dance with you before you fly into a brand-new adventure meant more to me than I could ever explain. The world is your oyster now, and I can’t wait to see what you do and to be right there with you. Thank you for always understanding me, in the deepest ways. Whenever I’m lost, I’ll imagine moving side by side with you. @jjrdan

Meet our alum, Jordan Gilbertson ABAD Class of 2019 🤍 One of Jordan’s favorite memories from her time at ABAD was performing with HRDE. From shows around Houston to traveling to places like Arizona for dance festivals, she loved being on stage and sharing those experiences with her teammates. Ms. Judith made a lasting impact on Jordan’s life. As her very first dance teacher, she trained her all the way through graduation in 2019 and was the one who pushed her to take dance more seriously. That guidance helped shape a lifelong love for the art. Jordan says ABAD taught her that the relationships built in the studio are truly special and unlike anything else in any other setting. After graduating from the University of Texas in 2024 with degrees in both dance and physics, Jordan now freelances as a dancer in Austin with contemporary and modern companies while also working on the research team for an executive search firm. Her advice to current dancers: Treasure the time you have at ABAD and the people you dance with. Those relationships are unlike anything else in life. We are so proud of you, Jordan. 🤍
