THE UNDEFEATED REMAINED UNDEFEATED.

The match-up between NORTH IBERVILLE vs SOUTHERN LAB comes with alot of history. Not with competition between each other (this was their first one) but their journeys have quietly not been easy. Southern Lab, last season, had to fight thru injury losses as well as a coaching deficit while still managing to pull off a 7-6 overall season. North Iberville has had to kick in every door the last few seasons to be recognized as a worthy opponent. This season North Iberville had a few major losses that have shaped some things in their program but they still continue to push thru.

From first whistle Southern Lab was going for LIGHTS OUT, controlling the way this narrative was to be told. Offense had multiple targets in their full on air raid, connecting their size with speed and a dual threat QB. While North Iberville has an air plus a ground game, an injury to their QB left them scrambling to make something shake. Both defenses played aggressive but Southern Lab kept the edge. Had the stack of penalties not racked up during the game, the score gao could have been wider. In the end Southern Lab took home the victory 53-0. Salute to both teams and good luck in their match-ups this week.

A LATE TD SAVED A COMPLETE SHUTOUT.

Through adversity comes victory and the match-up between SOUTHERN LAB vs CENTRAL PRIVATE is an example but not in the way you think. Southern Lab has had to work thru many changes internally from coaching changes to player shifts. They have done it quietly and with resilience to keep their focus on the win in front of them.
.
Southern Lab took Central Private to task aggressively on offense and defense. They struck early and often in the first half. Central Private made a rally to keep the team alive but at halftime the score was 32-7, favoring Southern Lab. Central Private fought the good fight in the 2nd half but the Southern Lab never let up and the final victory went to Southern Lab in a big way! Salute to both squads and more to come so stay tuned!
