Very excited to finally share: I got to illustrate a story about Sydney’s defunct SEGA theme park for the first ever issue of CONTINUE ⭐️
This magazine is an absolute work of art and I’m so happy to have been part of something so special to our Australian games community, as well as something so specifically relevant to my interests (Sonic and niche Australian video game lore) lol

I’ll be sharing the process of my illustrations in a YT video coming soon 💙 keep an eye out for that, as well as the genuine Lost Media that @sweaterjack uncovered for this story… 👁️👁️

What an absolute joy this season has been.

Four shows, four ridiculous adventures, four brilliant guests, and a whole lot of dice-fuelled nonsense.

From tap dancing seahorses to rampaging tarrasques, magical cock rings to suits made entirely of meat, geriatric gnome piss wizards to half-cyborg half-fish intergalactic chefs, and Michael Caine and Galadriel impressions nobody asked for but everyone deserved… this season gave us strange phobias, unrequited love, far too many sticky substances, and so many very stupid stupid jokes.

Huge thanks to everyone who came along, laughed with us, shouted suggestions, bought tickets, brought friends, sang along, made sound effects and helped make this Comedy Fest season an absolute blast.

Big love to our incredible guests - @olivercolemancomedy, @localcomediantricksycollins, @scodmanisanerd, & @thejaywymarra - for jumping into the chaos with such glorious commitment.

Thanks also to the team at @themotleybauhaus for having us, and happy 40th birthday to the @melbcomedyfestival - what a treat to be part of it!

And last but not least - thank you to everyone who keeps supporting Dice Paper Role, whether you’ve been with us for years or just came along this season and thought, “Yeah, alright, this is my kind of stupid.”

Saturday was wonderfully cooked.

We had a sold out crowd, multiple singalongs, and a fantasy hens/bucks party for Emil aka “Ross” that somehow spiralled into pixie dust, a mysteriously missing wedding ring, and a level of madness only Dan could shape into something resembling an adventure.

Tricksy, as the unstoppable orc barbarian Big Minnie, also dropped some show stopping wrestling moves, while the addition of Jack’s penis paraphernalia ensured things never stood a chance of staying classy.

Big love to our incredible crowd for fully joining in on the chaos, to @localcomediantricksycollins for diving in headfirst, and to Dan for handling the madness like a true professional.

Michael Caine also, somehow, played his part.

And shout out to @goosemonkeychronicles for the hilarious show-specific memes — an all-time post-show bonus. And to @terryhuddy and @sammi_bear19 for taking such great pics!!

Greg is back behind the DM screen for our first show of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival this Saturday.

This year he’s bringing back last year’s format — a more improvised game where even the Dungeon Master doesn’t know what’s going to happen.
