Our San Diego Metro team had the incredible privilege of serving at camps across the country this summer—and what a joy it was to watch them lead with excellence.

From Speaker to Program to Head Leader to Work Crew Coordinator to Work Crew Boss to Adult Guest Hosts, our staff stepped into every role with humble hearts, unwavering faith, and a deep love for students.

We couldn’t be more proud of how faithfully they served, encouraged, and pointed kids to Jesus day after day. Countless lives were impacted, and so many students said “yes” to a relationship with Christ this summer.

None of this is possible apart from God’s faithfulness. What a privilege it is to witness Him move through servant-hearted leaders who are willing to say yes.

Here’s to a summer of changed lives, eternal impact, and all the glory going to God. 🤍🙌🏼

watching kids be comfortable with the uncomfortable
3 weeks in northern cal at the beautiful Woodleaf
welcoming hundreds of campers
matching with my fav cali girls
serving alongside a TALENTED team
watching 400 + kids give their lives to Jesus
walking through hard, beautiful, and joy

Love this life i get to live and the way the Lord uses these spaces and people for kids to experience the Gospel. 💖

26 years later, Jesus is still capturing my heart with the mission of Young Life… to introduce adolescents to Christ and help them grow in their faith. Thanking Jesus for the 3 busses of @ylsdmetro campers and leaders and the lives transformed this last week @yl_lostcanyon. And 26 years later I’m still getting dunked 💦🫠
