I attended an amazing Lightroom photo editing class with Ryan Smith, @ryansmithfineart , Mark Denny, @markdenneyphoto , and Julianne Kost @jkost of Adobe in Sedona. While most of the class focused on editing, we did get out and shoot a little as well

Headed out on a month long trip to the Maritime Provinces and two days in I was a bit bored as the passenger. I decided to channel my inner Julieanne Kost and do some “passenger seat” photography 😂. I couldn’t reach my camera so the iPhone would have to suffice. Between the long exposure feature and Snapseed I was entertained for a while…until it was my turn to drive. 😊

Thank you to everyone at Adobe Digital Imaging - especially the @lightroom and @photoshop teams - both past and present. Your dedication to building the software and experiences millions rely on each day to work, explore, express, and create with is a true inspiration.
I have worked with Adobe software for over 35 years and have been with Adobe on the Lightroom team for seven. These seven years are ending this week but I look forward to many more decades of creative exploration with the software the best team in the world is developing for all of us.
With tremendous gratitude to everyone that has been a part of my digital journey, that started at RIT with @tompashe and @luciensamaha_myself to the Kodak Center for Creative Imaging where I met @jmac_mcintosh to @sva_digitalphoto to Adobe. I am the lucky one and you are all a part of me.

Museum Masterpiece is coming to Adobe MAX.

I have some exciting news.
Frida Kahlo, Vincent van Gogh, and Salvador Dalí will all be attending my Adobe MAX Pre-Conference session this year in Miami.
At least, versions of them will be.

In my Museum Masterpiece at MAX, you’ll use your own iPhone photos and Adobe creative tools to create a museum exhibition banner celebrating your favorite artist. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to photograph and interact with some of the greatest artists in history as they come to life in our imaginative museum experience. Selected banners will be printed and displayed during Adobe MAX, transforming our classroom into a creative museum filled with art, inspiration, and a few surprises.

You can even come dressed as your favorite artist, or as a character from one of their paintings.

Adobe MAX registration opens today!

The museum doors open in Miami on November 8th.

I hope to see you there.
