On a recent trip to China and Japan, I was reminded of a phrase my mom often says: “Chop wood, carry water.” It’s about showing up for the work in front of you, even when it’s tedious or overwhelming—and finding meaning along the way. From long factory days in Shenzhen to coastal hikes in Japan, this trip had plenty of the metaphorical chopping wood and carrying water. Fast-forward a few months to Colorado, where we hit the mountains outside of Denver to test out the latest prototypes. It was on that camping trip/photoshoot that we found ourselves *literally* chopping wood and carrying water. We decided it’s the perfect theme for our latest @kickstarter launch, so this daily reminder will be inside each MagLock Belt we make. Read the full story with more behind the scenes of the making of the MagBelt at the link in bio and sign up for launch alerts to get an exclusive discount.

Edo Architecture Museum. Awesome park if you’re ever in Tokyo and interested in history or architecture. We stayed for about 3 hours, but could’ve stayed all day. 20+ houses/structures to tour.
