Riding the silver lining out of June-uary straight towards Summer ⛈️🔜☀️

We got antsy during a week of on/off rain in the forecast and decided to chance it. Brought raincoats, good attitudes, and an appreciation for warm Spring rain.

We experienced Banff Skijoring for the first time this winter!

Day 1: We scored reservations at a restaurant overlooking the course and enjoyed the show from our booth 🥂

Day 2 was even more thrilling - we grabbed a front-row spot downtown and got to soak up the energetic atmosphere 🤠

Spent the day checking out the amazing views along Icefields Parkway!

We did multiple 1-3 KM hikes including one short hike that took us to an amazing view point of Peyto Lake. It is a glacier-fed lake located at the base of Bow Summit which is the highest point on the Icefields Parkway.

If you look closely you will see the north end of the lake resembles a wolf’s head.

And of course we ended our day with Poutine!!

Ask us how we feel about Revelstoke ❄️

Continuous flurries, yellow gondi dance parties, and the most vertical in North America 🏂⛷️

🦀 Puget Sound Pots of Gold

Convinced some friends to do a beach pickup and scope out some spots along our stretch of water. Spent the afternoon dropping pots and pulling up dinner BB!

Beachside buttah 🧈 with views of Mount Rainier 🏔️

Have you ever gone crabbing in WA?

Golden hour lasts forever 🌅

One of the best things about summers here in the PNW is how late they can be. You get looooong days, about 16 hours of sunlight at times.

We love being able to end our days with scenes like this - warm air, warm water (for WA standards), and a little slice of land in a sea of calm.

Don’t worry, we usually bring both 👟+🩴

We love getting in the water on our summer time hikes but that also means protecting our feet from reef & rock.

Shoes for hiking 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 sandals for swimming

Do your research and come prepared. Better to have things and not need them than to need them and not have them.

At least that’s what we always say 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏼‍♂️

Team westside on the left side 🚙

Did you know that in the Virgin Islands they drive on the left side?

We didn’t.

Sitting on the opposite side and watching traffic come towards you can be a trilling ride for some passenger princesses, but I think I did okay… maybe 🥴

Beats dinner and a movie in our opinion 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

We wanted to switch things up a bit for our “date night“ and Justin hit the bull’s-eye with this one 🎯

We were weeks deep into a ski road trip and needed some time not skiing and without the dogs (sorry pups!) 🦮🐕‍🦺

Beer, music, sharp objects flying around, and lots of LOTR references about axes haha 😅 What could beat that?

➡️ Send this to someone you want to drink beer and throw axes with

Hi, were Justin & Khadijah, an adventure-loving couple based in Gig Harbor, Washington. We love being active outdoors, whether that’s in our own backyard or on the other side of the world. For us, adventure is about more than just exploring new places—it’s about the thrill of discovery, the bond it builds, and the memories that last forever. Together we find fun ways to connect with nature while staying physically engaged. We’ve hiked through rugged mountains, biked scenic trails, and explored the wilds of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Follow along as we share our favorite adventures and experiences, tap in when you’re ready to join 💕

Rumble road driving, chill 10 mile river side hiking, natural hot springs and cold plunge. Decided to take a weekend off skiing and enjoy a little Spa Day with friends 🧖🏼‍♀️
