Do you not have a ton of tools? A ton of time? Or a ton of patience to refinish an entire piece of furniture ?! I’ll show you how i took this piece to a new level just by refinishing the base! So instead of stripping and sanding the top, it was in really good shape so my cousin chose a color that would compliment the color of the top for us to paint the base! And now here was the trick, the hardware holes were… well.. weird lol there were two for the midcentury hardware that was original to the piece, so I just filled the top hole in! And now the bottom hole was still off center, so my hack for that is using drop pulls! Bc at least for me, i like when the hole is a bit higher to account for the extra length that the hardware provides so this was perfect for the piece! So moral of the story, just work with the piece rather than against it, be flexible with your design choice and you’re good to go! Would you guys try this type of technique?! Lemme know down below!

In more MACtion Bobcats on the Road news, some of the ‘25 class headed to Detroit this weekend to become the first Sports Administration Class to witness a Bobcat MAC Football Championship since 1968!
