Feliz Dia dos Professores!

This one somehow did 1.2 million views 😅

So we’re doing the only logical thing…
turning it into a 2-day course in the US.

Master the Art of Color

If you’re going to watch one more study club before we disappear for the year… make it this one.

We’re bringing you @firas.dahbour — internationally renowned dental technician, lab owner, DTG member and KOL — to break down his brilliantly simple 4×4 ceramic layering concept.

4 stains.

4 ceramic powders.

4 burs.

4 firings.

That’s it.

A minimalist, predictable approach designed for real everyday lab work — less wasted time, less wasted material, and beautiful, consistent results.

And Firas knows his stuff. He’s taught technicians in 23+ countries across five continents, and now he’s joining Nightshift to share the system with us.

And did we mention…

THIS IS OUR LAST STUDY CLUB OF 2026. 🥲

So grab your drink, get comfortable and come finish another brilliant year of Nightshift education with us. 💜

🎟️ Spaces are limited — book yours now.

13th October 18.30 BST time

Comment LINK and we will send it to you!

Every dental case tells a different story, and the details are what bring it to life.

Kemdent Aesthetic Wax is available in four gingival shades—Ruby, Burgundy, Ivory, and Plum—giving dental technicians the flexibility to create realistic tissue characterization for a variety of cases. Whether you're refining contours, matching natural tissue tones, or adding the finishing touches to a wax-up, having the right shade on hand can make all the difference.

Which shade do you reach for most? See how Kemdent Aesthetic Wax can support your next wax-up.

THATCHER EFFECT // This optical illusion was first demonstrated by a psychologist, Peter Thompson, in 1980, using a photo of the then-British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
.
Why does it happen?
.
Your brain pays close attention to the relationships between features like the eyes, nose, and mouth. When a face is upside down, processing is much less effective, so you’re less likely to notice that the eyes and mouth have been inverted. Once the face is upright again, your brain immediately detects the distorted and grotesque nature of the facial transformation.
.
I love showing this case in my lectures as a way to remind clinicians/technicians that sometimes it helps remember that cases and patients are not always what they appear to be and it helps to change your perspective from time to time.
.
Big hugs from Maine 🙃🌲

The ReBourke design features a 25° angulated primary bar with MK1 attachments for a smooth path of insertion, a secure friction fit, and outstanding patient comfort. It truly combines the best of both removable and fixed workflows in one elegant CAD/CAM-manufactured solution.

But what brings this concept to life is the craftsmanship behind it — and that’s where Jenelle comes in. ✨Dental technician, educator, and prosthetic artist, Jenelle has been sharing jaw-dropping ReBourke cases that highlight precision, esthetics, and function. Her work shows exactly how this digital bar system elevates patient outcomes and pushes our industry forward. Great work my girl! 💕 🦷
