Bernie was my Ride or Die go to, he was talented at everything he did, we lived at the @jlaskatepark this summer like many others who live in Mammoth and love skating!! Power hour so many days of amazing sessions,BBQ,friends, talks etc! Been a hard couple of days for me and so many others who new him his energy was infectious and attitude towards life was get it while we’re here !! I’ve never meet anyone who got after it more than Bernie he was the real deal, from Skating , to Biking, to hiking the backcountry, making it out of the Mtns literally right before he had to Jump in his snowcat and run swing shift till midnight!! He’d be planning to do it all again the next Day !! He was a warrior and a true friend!! An amazing Father, partner and all around guy, he loved his son Alex and Amber! If he wasn’t getting super gnarly in the backcountry he be with Alex teaching him life and showing him how to live and showing him how to learn about life and the tools to know how to go threw the ups and downs. He was always supported me when I had tough times and never passed judgment on me or others no matter what I was going through. He will truly be missed and remembered forever, life is so precious. And you just never know when your time is up on this earth it’s short! Tell your loved ones you love them help someone out for no reason with out any reason at all!! Get off the couch and get out there !! Life is a wild ride lots of loved ones have gone to the other side this year with no warning of death , for us who are still living this is a lesson to do what you wanna do take the bull by the horns. Dare to be different we never know the future all we have is today! And Bernie showed us all to use the time we have today not tomorrow to live love and be in the moment! Thanks to all my friends who have reached out to me through this tough time! This has taught me that even the strongest of people you think you will grow old with is not promised Take the time to act now show love to everyone !! I’ll always remember this because we truly are here for a short time not a long time !! Make it a good time ! ❤️❤️❤️

🧡So late to the punch here but one of the funniest and worst showings of snowboarding I’ve had at JLA in at least a decade. Can’t perform well at all of them, but sure as hell had many, many, many belly laughs about this one. Thanks for the commentary @b.rad_b.rad and thanks for another successful event @iambillya.
