Still smiling about Sunrise to Success. Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, sponsored us, volunteered, and helped make this year’s celebration so meaningful. From the conversations to the connections to the commitment to Nashville students, the morning reminded us what is possible when a community shows up together.

A special thank you to our title sponsor, @amazon, our incredible panelists for sharing their insight and experiences, and our moderator, @levi.ismail, for guiding such a thoughtful and engaging conversation.

We are also grateful to every partner who continues to believe in the work of Persist Coaching.

AJLI Presidents of Large Leagues (POLL) summer training conference in Denver!

Most of my time serving as President of Junior League of Nashville is made up of our impact work in the Nashville community, building connections with our members and volunteering with our nonprofit partners.

BUT, another part of the role is representing our League within the global association. Over the course of the PEE -> PE -> President journey, I will attend eight total AJLI conferences and it’s hard to believe I’m already at 6/8.

While the programming and formal conference training is great, and I’m bringing some nuggets back, the best parts for me are (1) the informal conversations, best practice benchmarking, and problem solving brainstorming with other leaders from similar Leagues around the country, and (2) bonding and team building with our own JLN team away from the day to day of our work. Both were delightful in Denver this past weekend!

Some celebrations deserve more than a luncheon. 🍽️🥗

Recently, a group of us gathered to honor our dear friend, Georgia, on being named the Junior League of Nashville’s Sustainer of the Year. It’s an honor that couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person. Georgia has a remarkable gift for bringing people together, so it seemed only fitting that her celebration would do the same.

Instead of simply sharing a meal, I wanted us to share an experience. We each picked out a painting, grabbed a brush, and let our creativity take over. Some stayed neatly between the lines, while others created true works of art! What mattered wasn’t how our paintings turned out. 🎨👩🏼‍🎨

We all discovered new things about one another, celebrated our different talents, and created memories that will last far longer than the paint dries. 🖼️

Now, whenever someone looks at the painting they completed that day, they’ll remember much more than the artwork. They’ll remember the afternoon we came together to celebrate a woman who has spent so much of her life connecting others.

Congratulations again, Georgia. Thank you for reminding us that the greatest masterpieces are often the friendships we create along the way. ❤️

Thank you to our amazing partners, we are so grateful! Food is more than a meal — it’s stability, dignity, health, and hope. Yet millions of families are forced to choose between paying bills or putting food on the table.

In the United States alone, more than 44 million people face food insecurity, including 1 in 5 children. Many families living in poverty also lack reliable family or community support systems, making access to consistent meals even more critical. Hunger impacts everything from physical health to mental well-being, school performance, and long-term opportunity.

At The Aloe Family, we believe no one should have to navigate hardship alone. By providing food to underserved communities and individuals without strong support systems, we are helping meet immediate needs while reminding people they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Every meal shared is an act of compassion. Every donation, volunteer hour, and partnership helps bring hope to someone who may feel forgotten. Together, we can build stronger communities where families don’t just survive — they have the opportunity to thrive. ❤️

Such a fun and inspiring experience joining the Junior League Book Club event with 300+ members from across the country for the 2026 read, Laws of Love and Logic by Debra Curtis.

This special selection, in partnership with Thousand Voices Media, founded by Jenna Bush Hager, and Random House Publishing Group, sparked a meaningful and engaging discussion.

And yes… I may not have finished the book yet, but getting a shout-out from Jenna made it even more memorable! 📖

We had a HUGE Easter egg hunt this past Sunday! Thanks to Prologis and Junior League we had 1,000 eggs and over 65 easter baskets to provide the kids in our community.

Thank you all so much! We’ve never seen so much joy in the kids faces.

Serving as Chair for this year’s Women’s Leadership Conference was truly an experience I’ll always value. It stretched me, challenged me, and taught me so much about leadership, teamwork, and trusting the process.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in creating such a meaningful and impactful event. Seeing everything come together and witnessing the energy in the room made every moment worthwhile.

This experience has only deepened my passion for planning and leading impactful spaces, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow and take on even more opportunities to chair future conferences and major events.

Here are a few moments from a day I’ll never forget 💙💙
