my ep ‘to be loved by a songwriter.’ is out everywhere on october 23rd ❤️

i started writing this project at the start of 2025 in my notes app, on the tube, in josh’s east london studio, on dom and seans soho sofa, at my dressing room table, on the phone to tom and in between sourdough loaves with dylan and jc. i thought i was just writing about my dating life, and songs like Handmedowns and Gut Feeling were just around the corner, but then songs like when you know you know and EARN LOVE started coming out, and suddenly i had a notebook full of songs that were all about falling in love. to be loved by a songwriter is to be written about, and for, in a hundred different ways, and this ep holds just 5 of those.

when you know you know, EARN LOVE, Rusty, Nobody Told Me! and TO BE LOVED BY A SONGWRITER are my innermost thoughts from the past year and a half and boooooyyyyyyy is it scary to share them!!!! i feel a little silly!!! but i hope you love them, and they shed a little light on how it might feel to be loved by a songwriter. x

Things that I loved this week:

1. @jmac_mix wearing his 3.5mm BB court ring and holding his mega cute pup ❤️ 📷@hannahbraid

2. Billy Bob my daughter’s squishy 🐙 hanging out at the studio with some freshly purchased vintage pearls in the most perfect box.

3. Smiley 😃 on the streets of Shoreditch.

4. Rose gold wheels giving me nostalgia for my Michael Kors watch back in the day.

5. Our beloved 🐻 on the inside of a BB bespoke ring.

6. Workshop benches. Forever a fave.

7. Chunky T-bar sourced for a client.

8. Aquas in the sun. One of the very early RTW pieces I made.

9. Lloyd Grossman and I circa 2000.
